PHLAPS is the brain child of award winning author, part-time footballer, full-time fantasist and lifestyle coach Phil Peters.

It was during his long tenure as a part-time footballer, that Mr Peters invented the concept of phlaps and started adding them to his bizarre and frankly achillean selection of hats.

Mr Peters also happens to be a world reknown author. His best selling e-book “How to get a better job” is available on Amazon and will change your life, one page at a time.

Anyway we have digressed.

Mr Peters started wearing his phlap hats to his weekly football games. However the world did not take note of his phlaps until his book signing would tour.

Mr Peters was frequently asked about his trademark Phlap hats.

In fact while in Seattle for a book signing at Amazon’s HQ, he was invited on Jeff Bezos’s yacht.

Jeff suggested to Mr Peters, that he should launch a fashion brand, so people could not just learn from him professionally but also sartorially. In order to return the favour Mr Peters introduced Jeff to his now wife Lauren, who was Mr Peter’s heliocopter pilot at the time.

Sadly Mr Peters was not invited to the wedding after the infamous ‘Baldy Bezos Boob’ incident in which he confused Jeff Bezos’s head with a young lady’s breast.
